Meet the directors
The leadership team at Hide and Seek Learning Center is driven by a shared passion for advocacy, community, and creating a lifelong village for the children and families they serve. Together, the directors are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where every child can thrive and every family feels supported.
Advocating for the needs of children is at the heart of their mission. Whether it's advocating for children long after they've graduated, ensuring every child has what they need, or offering a listening ear, the team goes above and beyond to ensure that every family feels seen, heard, and valued.
The Directors and staff are dedicated to fostering lasting relationships and building a true sense of community. They strive to create a space where magical childhood memories are made, milestones are celebrated, and families know they always have a village to rely on.

At Hide and Seek Learning Center, serving children and their families isn't just a job-it's their passion and purpose.

Mrs. Carissa Seek
B.A. Child and Family Development
M.A. School Counseling

Since 2008, Hide and Seek has been a significant part of Mrs. Carissas journey. She started as a college intern and grew into a part-time afternoon teacher. After graduating, she became the Assistant Director. From 2011 to 2014, Mrs. Carissa took a hiatus to work in social work as a case manager, gaining invaluable experience. In 2014, she was invited back as the full-time director with the goal of one day owning the daycare.
That dream became a reality in 2019, and Hide and Seek was born!
For Mrs. Carissa, the most meaningful part of her role is providing parents with complete peace of mind, knowing their children are in the best hands. She is deeply committed to the safety, well- being, and growth of every child. A passionate advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves, Carissa goes above and beyond to meet every child's needs. Whether it's emailing the Director of Special Education to secure an IEP or adding diapers to her Walmart order, she always finds a way.

When she's not at Hide and Seek, you can find her traveling, relaxing at the lake or pool on sunny days, watching her four boys play sports, reading, crafting, attending concerts, cheering on the Chiefs, or visiting Disney as often as she can!

Mrs. Meagan Cloninger
B.A. Child and Family Development
With nine wonderful years at Hide and Seek Learning Center, Mrs. Meagan has grown alongside our H&S community, consistently bringing her passion for early childhood education to every role she has taken on. She began her journey as a classroom teacher, where she quickly became known for her dedication to the children in her care. Her commitment to our center led her to move up as Assistant Director, and six years ago, she embraced the role of Director. Mrs. Meagan has poured her heart into every aspect of her job, leading with passion, dedication, and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of both children and families.
To Mrs. Meagan, the most meaningful part of being a director is building genuine, lasting connections with the families we serve. She believes that creating a nurturing and supportive environment is key to ensuring every child feels safe, loved, and valued. She strives to make Hide and Seek a place where children can thrive-where they are not only cared for but also encouraged to explore, learn, and grow in a space that feels like a second home.
Outside of work, Mrs. Meagan enjoys spending quality time with her family, baking delicious treats, attending live concerts, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs with her loved ones. Her passion for life and commitment to her family carry over into her work, making her an integral part
of the Hide and Seek family.

Mrs. Reilly Weddle
B.A. Child and Family Development
Mrs. Reilly began her journey at Hide and Seek Learning Center at the age of 20, bringing her energy and passion for children to the team. Over the years, she has worn many hats, including Pre-K Teacher, Adventureland Teacher, and Lead Teacher in the Infant Room. In 2019, she proudly graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Development, further solidifying her commitment to the growth and well-being of children. Now, as Assistant Director, she brings her knowledge and experience to the leadership team.
For Mrs. Reilly, the most meaningful part of her role is the relationships she builds with students and families. She is devoted to creating a second home for everyone who walks through the doors at Hide and Seek. As both an employee and a parent to an H&S kiddo, she understands the comfort and joy of knowing that children are safe, loved, and cared for.
Outside of work, Reilly enjoys making memories with the people she loves most. She is blessed
with a beautiful daughter, an amazing and supportive husband, and lifelong friends who enrich her life every day. When she's not with family and friends, she can be found cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs or singing and dancing her heart out at concerts!
